Additional Information

The first tour of the day departs from Stop #1 – Big Bus Tours Visitors Center at 10:00 AM with the last tour of the day departing at 5:00 PM. Headphones will be provided upon arrival, however, feel free to use your own.
Hop-on Hop-off tour ticket is valid during operating hours only
Red Route: The main 2-hour hop-on, hop-off sightseeing loop, covering major highlights including Fisherman’s Wharf, the Embarcadero, Union Square, Chinatown, and the Golden Gate Bridge. Buses run about every 15 minutes.
Yellow Route: 75-minute route focused on San Francisco’s colorful neighborhoods, connecting Union Square, the Painted Ladies, Haight-Ashbury, Golden Gate Park, and Chinatown. Buses run about every 2 hours.
Chinatown tour is available via app on Android and iOS. See Big Bus staff for additional details. Tour begins at Stop #3.

Il tour sviluppato su 3 percorsi sarebbe completo, con la possibilità di vedere davvero tutto, ma la linea gialla, che porta fuori down town nei quartieri meno spettacolari ma più veraci, non è sviluppato in maniera adeguata. Due ore tra una corsa e l’altra non invogliano nessuno a scendere, con il rischio di non riuscire a vedere tutto. Un vero peccato, perché qui è l’anima di San Francisco, tra le case di legno colorate e i murales, non tra i grattacieli e le giostre della Marina. Per questo motivo ma anche perché le audio guide non sono quasi mai centrate con le zone che si stanno visitando, trovo il costo un po eccessivo.
