  • St. Peter's is closed during the following times: Wednesdays and Saturdays: 8 AM - 12 PM. During these times, the tour will visit other parts of the museums
  • St. Peter’s Basilica and the Sistine Chapel close without notice on rare occasions; if this happens, your guide will take you to tour the other parts of the Museum
  • Meeting time is subject to change; if this occurs, you will receive a call or message from the activity provider
  • No refund will be issued for latecomers
  • Individuals with disabilities or special health needs must note it on their booking
  • Shoulders and knees must be covered at all times. You may be refused entry if you do not comply
  • All visitors must pass through airport-style security. During high season, the wait at security may be up to 30 minutes

The only parts we really wanted to see ( sistene chapel and St. Peters) were saved for the last 40 minutes of the tour. This required a slow walk and lots of standing for the first 2 hours, 20 minutes. Guides accent was very strong and she was speaking fast making it difficult to understand. The whispers were constantly breaking in and out. It was very hot and I got sick and informed the guide I was sick and needed to depart tour and was informed to stay with her and the tour. At that point there was only 30 minutes left so I splashed some water on my face and toughed it out. I would have preferred skip the line passes without the actual narrated tour

A visita se deteve bastante tempo a parte do museu com as esculturas e suas histórias, assim faltando tempo de visitar outros setores como Escadaria de Bramante.

We had an amazing time. Our guide was very knowledgable and the skip-the-line was so helpful (especially on a hot day). Really recommend this tour. The highlight was definitely Michaelangelo’s painting in the Sistine Chapel. Another favourite was the room with the 24k gold ceiling. It’s worth noting though that they say to cover shoulders and knees but there were a lot of people who were wearing shorts (especially the men). Again, this tour was soooo worth it!!!
