Too many people. It was impossible to see the paintings clearly, people were jostling for position constantly, my 80 year old uncle found it awful. The guide was good, she knew the subject.

The tour was well organised and lasted two hours. The tour guide was very knowledgeable about the subject matter relating to Caravaggio. Our guide was also able to give this information in away that you could not only appreciate but also understand the significance of Caravaggio’s work in an historical and social context. A thoroughly enjoyable experience that I would highly recommend.

It was impossible to obtain a ticket without paying for this tour but the extra cost was very worthwhile, the tour was a full two hours, involved a detailed and interesting discussion in front of EVERY painting, a small and pleasant group, and of Caravaggio's life and times, and an expert and knowledgeable guide
