It was a bummer that I wasn't aware my sister and I would be asked for ID upon arrival to the meeting point location (aka CROWN TOURS ticket office), as I have booked our tickets for the Colosseum with our preferred names (or nicknames if you will). I do this every time we have a reservation where I know I'm not going to be asked for my legal (given) name. I'm only giving it 2 starts because the guy at the counter was calm. He told us that there is nothing he can do, even though all other info matched, he couldn't look past this. Which we were okay with, due to the fact that it was essentially my fault. He told us to just go to the ticket office in from of the Colosseum, to get them again, as he couldn't refund us. He also said we can still access the Audio for the tour that we paid for initially, and that we just needed to download the Crown Tours app. We did and actually, we didn't bother accessing it any further as we also needed to download the whole audio guide to our phone.

Es war ein tolles Erlebnis. Nur das mit dem Schnelleinlass hat nicht so funktioniert, wie ich mir das vorgestellt hatte. Man musste an einer ziemlich langen Schlange anstehen. Als sich die Eingangstore dann aber öffneten (ich war am Morgen zur Eröffnung da) ging es aber doch recht schnell. Deshalb bewerte ich den Schnelleinlass insgesamt nicht negativ. Beim Forum Romanum dauerte der Einlass dann aber doch etwas länger. Dennoch sehr beeindruckend was man dann zu sehen bekommt. Gerne komme ich wieder.

We had a great experience and would recommend a guide or you will miss out on lots of interesting facts and special places. Crown Tours were our go to through GYG and were so organized and professional and highly recommended.
