The city of Prague may be famous for its beautiful architecture but there are also secrets and stories hidden below the ground. On this guided tour step away from the masses and discover a different part of the city, the one that exists under the cobblestoned streets of Prague. Visit the medieval palace hidden in the labyrinth of narrow alleys, admire the Romanesque underground from the 12th century where even the former medieval King of Bohemia once lived. On the tour through the Old Town listen to the history of the city and how it changed over the centuries. Explore the Gothic underground from the 13th and 14th century and walk through the atmospheric rooms, corridors and cellars hidden up to 2 floors beneath the ground. See historical expositions about weapons, civil wars, crafts and the emperor Charles IV. Meet the Plague doctor and hear about epidemics, floods, fires and rebellions and learn how hard life must have been in those days. Learn about the alchemists of the Emperor Rudolf II., discover the secret alchemy laboratory and uncover the legend about the infamous Golem Monster and his famous creator Rabbi Loew. Descend into the dungeon to meet the executioner Jan Mydlář and dare to listen to chilling stories about the Big 1621 Old Town executions, cruel medieval torture techniques used to administer justice in the Middle Ages and see the display of torture and execution instruments.

Vermutlich eher eine Führung für Familien mit jungen Kindern, wenn man echte (historische) Untergrundgewölbe sehen möchte ist man hier an der falschen Stelle. Auch der Informationsgehalt zu Prag selbst ist hier sehr enden wollend, klassische Free Walking Tours bieten hier viel mehr
