One of Europe's prettiest towns, Cesky Krumlov is a living gallery of elegant Renaissance-era buildings housing charming cafes, pubs, restaurants, shops, and galleries. It has been registered as a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1992. The town has been bustling since medieval times, and the historical center is exquisitely preserved. Then, march off to Krumlov Castle for a taste of the Renaissance. Krumlov Castle is the second biggest in Bohemia, after Prague Castle. This jewel attracts visitors from all over the world. (The castle is closed from 31st October - 21st March; but you can still climb to the tower and see historical exhibition onsite except Mondays). Later, dine at one of the local pubs or restaurants for lunch, where you can enjoy the local food and drinks. Explore Cesky Krumlov with the convenience of a professional driver-guide. You will get the highlights of the town, local culture, and history. You can explore at your own pace, saving time for souvenir shopping if you wish. If you are finished early, you also have the option of adding the nearby town of Ceske Budejovice or Hluboka Castle to your tour. If there are fewer than 3 participants, the tour may be canceled. All participants will be informed in advance.
Η οδηγος μας η Jana, νοιαζοταν για εμας, σε ολη την διαρκεια της εκδρομης. Γλυκια, ευγενικη, πολυ σωστη επαγγελματιας.
Jaroslav was an exceptional guide, very knowledgeable with great stories and extremely accommodating. We definitely recommend this tour.
Jaroslav is a superb guide. At Cesky Krumlov he parked at a high viewpoint, walked us downhill through the castle grounds to the old town, providing historical context and pointing out sites we might want to spend more time visiting after his one hour overview. While we enjoyed free time to do that and have lunch, he backtracked uphill to move the van to a parking lot near our meeting point, which was very considerate. Highly recommend this tour and guide.
He was an excellent guide!
Jana was amazing, and the activity was very well paced.
