Český Krumlov, a medieval town in South Bohemia, retains its fairytale-like atmosphere even today, and it will be easy to see why UNESCO included the town on its list of cultural heritage sites. Your guide will lead you along the narrow, winding streets of the historical center, where you’ll be able to admire the Gothic, Renaissance, and Baroque buildings of the Rožmberk, Eggenberg, and Schwarzenberg noble families. Tour the famed castle, the second largest in the Czech Republic (tickets can be bought on site). You’ll see centuries-old furniture, artwork, tapestries, and exquisitely adorned weapons, and also the world’s oldest, well-preserved Baroque theater.

Only the museum and the castle tower are open in term 1.11.-22.12. + 2. 1.-31. 3., Tuesdays-Sundays (interiors of the castle closed).
On June 19th and 20th, the traditional Five-Petalled Rose Festival will take place. Entrance to Český Krumlov is subject to a fee of 500 CZK / 23 EUR. Clients must pay this amount to the guide in the morning before the tour starts. Payment is accepted in cash only.

Notre guide Karolina nous a bien expliqué l'histoire du lieu dans les périodes les plus marquantes. Dommage de devoir choisir entre le musée et la vieille ville en temps libre si on va déjeuner !

I would like to give a better review if I was treated better rather than being shouted by the driver. I was 15 minutes earlier than the agreed time at the meeting point but nobody came. Then my phone rang 5 minutes after the agreed time and it was the tour guide so I told him where I was, it turned out I was standing on the opposite side of the meeting point. When the tour guide and the driver came to fetch me, the driver shouted "you are late!" when I had been standing there for over 20 minutes. Why I was on the opposite side of the road, I don't know, I just followed the Google map direction. Of all the trips I've made in various continents, nothing like this ever happened, perhaps it was specically poor at Prague? But whatever it is, there is no need to shout and make this strong accusation. The whole day was spoiled by this poor conduct of the driver. I was planning another day trip and when I saw this company again, I just wouldn't book so to avoid further humiliation.

Great trip. I almost didn't go because of the long travel time but I'm so glad I went as Cesky Krumlov is beautiful. The journey time was 2 1/2 hrs each way. The guide, Jan, has lots of information and it's a well organized day.
