Additional Information

  • Come to the Get Your Guide office to meet your guide; do not go directly to the palace
  • The time on your voucher is the meeting time at our shop
  • The tour inside the palace lasts 1.5 hours and we allow 30 minutes for organisation (security checks, headsets distribution)
  • Arriving on time is very important. Late arrivals cannot be refunded or guaranteed access to the Palace, and rescheduling fees will apply
  • During peak season, the palace can be crowded and there may be a short wait at the group entrance due to safety controls
  • Feel free to stay as long as you like at Versailles palace after your guided tour and explore the gardens
  • The palace gardens are free from November to March (prices are adjusted accordingly and there are no fountain shows during this period)
  • The gardens close at 5:30 PM on May 16 and July 14, on every Saturday from June 6 to September 19, and every day from October 26 to March 31

Gabriella is a wonderful passionate guide. She has great knowledge and tells interesting stories about architecture, paintings, history and the main persons in the palace during the reign of Louis XIV, XV and XVI. Not to forget MA and the story of the Trianon (must see!). Will definitely come back cause this place is too big for one day.
