My only complaint is that we paid for private door to door tour in a Mercedes and our drivers and vehicles were changed three times, and the last time was not a nice vehicle and we had to share with a party of 5! False advertising and do not believe the vans were all broken, as they seemed fine when we were in them. We feel a credit should be provided.

It was a good tour. It was difficult to hear the tour guide in car without microphone. Mini van and people in back row could not hear over some car noise. Also walking area palace without earphones and micro, it was difficult for all to hear. Was disappointed guide didn’t accompany party through main palace. That was not made clear in your description that that would be the case. Basically on our own in main palace. Also stated water would be provided but there was not and no time for lunch. Could not eat or drink in car.

Our guide showed us the best parts of Versailles. My favorite parts were the gardens and Trianon, especially Marie Antoinette's village. It was a little difficult to understand some of the guide's words as she struggled with some English words, but she was very patient and informative. It was a good idea to take a full day to see Versailles. There is alot to see and alot of walking. We were exhausted by the end of the day. This really was a very enjoyable day, even it it poured on us the entire time we were outside.

Our private tour, including transportation from our hotel was exceptional. Adam was our driver and did an excellent job, including negotiating some difficult traffic to & from Versailles. Daniel was waiting for us at Versailles and was extremely knowledgeable and informative. The only down side were the crowds in the afternoon. I’d recommend going early in the day to potentially avoid some of the crowds. We walked through the gardens with Daniel who continued to fill us in on known and little known history, making the stories truly enjoyable. We also saw Trianon & its grounds with Daniel which was much more enjoyable due to smaller crowds. Due to a change in schedule, we needed to leave earlier than planned and Daniel was able to arrange the tours to ensure we still were able to get an excellent experience. Would definitely recommend this tour, guide & driver.

First of all, Maria, our guide, was absolutely wonderful and knowledgeable. She told us many stories about King Louis XIV, Louis XVI and Marie Antoinette and stories about Napoleon as we rode around the gardens at Versailles. Maria was very personable and took photos of us as well. We recommend her as your guide!
