As our entry time was in the afternoon we decided to visit gardens first then thr palace afterwards. After the palace visit we wanted to visit the gardens again thinking our ticket would allow this. We were refused entry to the gardens at the same point we entered in the morning and told we had to go to a different gate which was not far away. This other gate was a long walk away, not near! We wanted to enter the gardens the second time to visit the Marie Antoinette house but at the second gate we were told if we went into the gardens we then had to leave the gardens for the Marie Antojnette house and could not get back into the gardens to get back to the main entrance but would have to walk a long way around. The tickets did not make it clear there was any restrictions on the entry to the gardens in this way! We were advised to walk around outside of the grounds to the Marie Antoinette house so we could return into the gardens after. All in all a very frustrating and disappointing.
