The catacombs was an amazing experience and worth every penny we paid. the experience was exactly as described. You do have to climb down lots of steps to get 20 meters under Paris. The Catacombs have been well preserved and the audio that comes with the tour is a very welcome addition. I would highly recommend.
The Catacombes were AMAZING. purchasing the ticket on the get your guide app gave a small issue at the entrance. The attraction must have the QR code to let you in. showing the mobile ticket or purchase does not work. next time I would prefer to just have been sent the QR code thru the app. Seeing the Catacombes was a well put together audio tour. Magnifique.
The most incredible experience. Simply fascinating walk in history and very humbling to see the reality of mortality.
No value for money other than availability when you can’t buy from site. Otherwise good provision of services.
Worth the visit
I still don’t understand why we paid so much more that the official prices. You can get the official ticket with audio guide and the Seine cruise for a lot, lot less… One might say that it is because of the fast access, but when we arrived on Thursday afternoon, there was literally nobody in line and we could even walk in 30 minutes earlier. The Seine cruise was actually in a very large boat with a few other hundred people and had to wait in line for one hour. Not to mention that the two are not in any way connected. Comparing this with the guided Louvre 3 hours tour, this seems like a ripoff.
