Our 9/11 tour in New York with Jorge was a truly meaningful experience. He was incredibly respectful throughout, creating a thoughtful and reflective atmosphere. What stood out most was the personal knowledge he shared about that day—it added a powerful, human perspective that you can’t get from just reading or watching documentaries. Jorge never rushed the tour; he took his time to answer questions and make sure everyone understood the significance of each stop. I’d highly recommend this tour to anyone looking for a deeper, more personal understanding of 9/11.

I’ll start by saying that a visit to the 9/11 Museum was a top highlight of our recent trip to NYC. A must-see for sure. We bought the VIP package that included guided small group tour of the exterior memorial (done by local tour guide), a guided small group tour of the interior museum (conducted by museum guide) and tickets to the One World Observatory. We spent $500+ for family of three because I wanted to make sure we heard the stories and history from professionals instead of wandering the sites on our own. For other families researching the different options, I would suggest doing the exterior memorial on your own (which is free) and then buying a package that covers museum guided tour and tickets to the observatory. The group tour outside at the beginning took 75-90 minutes and felt like it could’ve been covered in 20-30 minutes instead (for our family). Getting into the museum was the highlight. We thought that tour was exceptional!

We didn’t quite know what to expect from the tour, but from the moment Emmeline greeted us, we were completely captivated. She has a remarkable gift for storytelling, weaving together facts, personal accounts, and powerful moments in a way that held our attention from start to finish. The hour and a half flew by as she guided us through the harrowing events of that day, sharing not only the tragedy but also the extraordinary stories of courage and heroism that emerged. There was so much we hadn’t known before, and hearing it told with such care and depth made it all the more moving. One particularly meaningful moment was when Emmeline helped us locate the name of a friend of a friend who had lost their life. That simple act added a deeply personal layer to the experience and is something we’ll always appreciate. It’s safe to say we truly loved the tour — we haven’t stopped talking about it since. It was informative, emotional, and unforgettable.
