Det var meget dejligt at komme ud på vand da der var en brise. Jeg så mange nye muligheder for senere besøg i Oxford.

A pleasant enough boat trip, relaxing away from the ‘busy’ city. Basic boat but good views and toilets on board. No commentary and sailed away from the city so not a lot to see - just birds and boats.

The cruise was quiet and serene but it could have taken us on a nicer part of the Thames. The guide narrated stories that were a bit boring at times.

Wenn man sich vor dem Besuch von Oxford entspannen will, ist diese 40min Fahrt völlig i.O. . Wenn man jedoch wie wir als Einstimmung auf unseren Besuch etwas von Oxford sehen und Informationen erhalten möchte, wird man mehr als nur enttäuscht. So gut wie keine Informationen und man sieht außer den Bootshäusern der Colleges, Hausbooten, in weiter! Ferne einen Turm der Christ Church?, einer bzw. 2 kleiner Brücken und einer Schleuse vor der das Boot nach 20min wendet, nichts - abgesehen von einem grünen Uferbereich.
