As being a Londoner, I purchased this experience as a Christmas gift for my partner who loves AfroCarribean food and we were not disappointed. Obi was the absolute best; personable, engaging and a natural-born storyteller he walked us through the rich history embedded in the streets of Brixton, drawing upon his own experiences as a young boy and that of his parents aswell. It was immersive and engaging and each bite we had to eat (and there were many...) was backed up with more history, culture and descriptions of flavour that left us picking favourites and fighting over who got to finish the extras! And lastly, the "family dinner" at the end of the tour was really the icing on the cake. We got to hear and share our own personal stories with the rest of the group, and Obi, and what wonderful interesting people we had the privilege of meeting! I would recommend this tour for anyone and everyone, just make sure you bring an appetite!

The food tour was outstanding. Obi was attentive, welcoming, knowledgeable & a gentleman. He wears his heart on his sleeve, he’s humble and clearly loves what he does. It was an absolute pleasure, I’m so glad I did the tour, even as a Londoner, I learned a lot. Obi takes you on a short walkable journey with facts & images & stories. His delivery is awesome, he’s personable & grateful. The tour was a pure highlight of the season, a great way to close out the year. He’s generous, professional, protective and polite. He ensures everyone is included, checking in and providing excellent local & historical knowledge. The food stops flowed perfectly, he ensures to arrive early and organise this so it flows well. It’s a definite must when in the city because it takes you off the beaten path & shows you a working living breathing London from the settlers viewpoint of how this migration really enriched the London fabric of a once nomans land to now infamous part of the city & Obi does this well
