Your experience in one of the 32 high-tech glass capsules will take about 30 minutes
Children under 16 years must be accompanied by an adult over 18
Infants aged 2 years and under ride free, but must still reserve a ticket
Disabled guests pay the standard price and their carer enters free of charge
The attraction is wheelchair-accessible. Please note only two wheelchairs are allowed per capsule and a maximum of eight wheelchairs in total are allowed on the London Eye at any one time

Obwohl die Schlange ziemlich lang war, ging es doch zügig voran. In dem Moment als ich in eine Kapsel einsteigen wollte, hat mich ein fremder Mann zurückgedrängt mit den Worten „No, No. Don’t come in.“ Er war mit einer Gruppe anderer seiner Freunde bzw. Bekannten dort drin und die wollten wohl unter sich bleiben. Es war aber noch genug Platz für mich. Und dann hat eine Frau vom Personal gesagt: „No discussion, she‘s going in. She paid.“ Und dann hat er mich halt reingelassen, aber ich fühlte mich während der gesamten Fahrt eher unerwünscht und unwohl. Kurz vor dem Aussteigen hat mir ein fremder Mann zweimal kurz hintereinander auf den Rücken zwischen die Schulterblätter geklopft. So nach dem Motto „Braves Pferd“. Ich habe mich blitzschnell umgedreht und ihm direkt in die Augen geschaut, mit hochgezogenen Augenbrauen als indirekte Aufforderung sich zu erklären. Aber er hat mir nur wohlwollend-bestätigend zugenickt. Ich war in dem Moment so irritiert, dass ich nichts gesagt habe.
