Acquire deeper knowledge of World War II history and understand the cruelty of the crimes committed against the victims of Sachsenhausen Concentration Camp with a guided visit. Afterward, explore the ancient Slavic town of Postdam and its royal palaces and gardens. Board your bus at Alexanderplatz and begin your drive to the first stop. Meet your Sachsenhausen Memorial guide and enter the camp to understand the dimensions of the cruelty that took place there. Learn about how jobs were distributed and how the camp was run. After your visit, set off towards Potsdam. Hear the story of how it went from being a Slavic town to becoming a royal residence. See the palaces and gardens where the royal families and their courts ruled and walked. Take a guided walk and enjoy some free time to discover the area on your own. On our way back, our bus will cross the Glienicke Bridge, connecting Berlin and Potsdam. This historic bridge is famous worldwide, both for its role during the Cold War as a site for prisoner exchanges and for being featured in the movie Bridge of Spies. We will also pass by Checkpoint Bravo, one of the key border crossings between East and West Berlin during the division of the city, where you can get a sense of the Cold War era and its impact on Berlin. Afterward, we will enter Berlin for a panoramic city tour, driving past some of the capital’s most iconic landmarks, including the Reichstag, the Brandenburg Gate, and the Holocaust Memorial, giving you a memorable overview of the city’s history and culture.

Het was een zeer interessante trip naar Sachenhausen. We kregen veel informatie van onze gids Walid. Veel complimenten naar hem, gaf zeer veel goede informatie en antwoorden op de vragen. Echt een topper! 5 sterren voor hem

The tour itself was fine and the guide was friendly and knowledgeable I wouldn’t have booked it if I’d known that there would be two guides of different languages in the bus at once It’s annoying and distracting with Spanish people talking loudly when English guide was speaking. Probably too much for one day. Would recommend doing a tour to once ace or the other not both in same day. Would have preferred more time in Potsdam and we only saw a small section

Pete, Dankjewel voor de informatieve en indrukwekkende dag. De uitleg was accuraat en goed onderbouwd. Zelfs je Liverpoolse accent was goed te verstaan en te begrijpen. Je Spaanstalige collega was heel lang van stof (radio Madrid) en zijn geluid kon ik helaas niet uitzetten in de bus.🤪
