My wife and I turned up for our Berlin Government District Tour and Reichstag Dome visit at 3.00 on Sunday June 29th. We were welcomed by the tour guide. I had received confirmation emails of my booking, had received emails to download the app which I did and was sent a reminder. The first problem we encountered is that we were not on the tour guide’s list. He assured us this wasn’t a problem and it wouldn’t affect our entry. The second problem was in entering the security area at Reichstag we did not appear on any list and after a lot of searching and little help from the tour guide we were ejected from the establishment. This was embarrassing to say the least. We booked that particular slot to allow us to spend time in the evening in the dome with the possibility of eating, drinking and taking in the views, not to be. We paid £66 for this event and have no time on our trip to repeat it. It would seem a gross error on your part and I would like an explanation and full refund.

Fun to go up to top and the view but I had expected more info about Parliament itself and some idea of the way it runs or to see the chamber from a distance at least…
