Guided Gaudí’s Trencadís Mosaic Workshop in Barcelona

You will learn the iconic Trencadís technique, the expressive mosaic style popularised by Antoni Gaudí. With guidance of our instructors, you will be introduced to the tools, materials, and methods that bring this technique to life. No prior experience is needed, just curiosity and a desire to create. Using colorful ceramic pieces, you will design your own art piece, that could be a: photo frame, box, animal figure, or other shapes. Every step of the process is hands-on and carefully guided, allowing you to experiment with color and composition. Younger children work with pre-cut acrylic tiles, while children above the age of 10 may also work with the normal ceramic pieces. Once your artwork is complete, our staff will apply the grout to ensure a lasting finish. Your artwork will be ready for pickup by the afternoon, or the following day if your workshop takes place in the afternoon, making it a perfect keepsake from your time in Barcelona. This experience is also sustainable and proudly holds the BIOSPHERE Certification 2026, reflecting our commitment to responsible tourism and environmental respect

Please arrive on time and keep in mind that after you finish your master piece, we apply the grout. So you could pick up your piece later the same day or the next day, depending on what time the workshop took place
